Expanded Emergency Service + Emergency Surgery Availability 24/7

Hope Veterinary Specialists is excited to announce the continued expansion of our Emergency Service! As is made readily apparent by the closing of several other emergency services in Eastern Pennsylvania, the regional shortage of both doctors and nursing staff have made it very difficult for emergency services to remain viable. Given that, Hope has made several fundamental changes in order to ensure the continued vitality of our Emergency Service. On the veterinary front, we have continued to hire doctors and have increased to a staff of twelve experienced emergency doctors including three board-certified specialists. We have also followed the trend toward shifting the role of basic emergency surgery to emergency doctors with surgical specialists on call to provide support as needed. On the equally or more important nursing side of things, we have continued to restructure our nursing program in order to hire and retain the most talented team of nursing staff and assistants in the region. In a time when most other practices are having difficulty just maintaining nursing staff, we continue to grow our team including many new CVT and VTS qualified nurses. We believe our ongoing ability to transform and adapt to the ever-changing world around us will successfully prepare us for the challenges of tomorrow. We look forward to not only successfully meeting these challenges but continuing to grow and foster our relationships with our colleagues. We are happy to report that Hope Veterinary Specialists remains the single most experienced and capable emergency service in the Chester County region.  As always, we remain dedicated to and thankful for the trust and confidence you have put in Hope Veterinary Specialists and we will do our best to continue to serve the needs of your practice and your patients. We look forward to continuing to serve you for years to come!
