During this lecture, we will discuss ways in which the pet parent can improve and maintain a good quality of life for their aging or terminally ill pet.
10:30 am- Jennifer Durn– “Pet Caregiver Stress: Recommendations for Taking Care of Yourself”
Caring for your ailing pet can take a toll on your overall well-being. The lecture will focus on the stressors that can lead to pet caregiver burnout, as well as effective strategies for preserving your own health throughout the process.
11:30 am- Q & A followed by hospital tours for those who wish to have a behind the scenes look at Hope.
