Dr. Sarah Muhrer graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has special interest in the treatment of toxicities, urethral obstructions, and neonatal medicine.
Dr. Muhrer completed a 1-year rotating medicine and surgical internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and has provided emergency medical services at a specialty hospital in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, for the past 5 years. She is a 2005 graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, earning a BA in biology, with honors.
Dr. Muhrer loves international veterinary medicine and spent 4 months in Tanzania studying wildlife protection in the Serengeti and 4 weeks in the Bahamas studying iguanas. She enjoys agility training with her border collie mix, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and traveling.
