Paul G. Orsini
DVM, DACVS, DAVDC
Dr. Paul Orsini has been board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 1994 and the American Veterinary Dental College since 1995. He has expertise in periodontal disease, endodontic therapy (eg, root canal therapy), restorative dentistry (eg, crown fabrication), orthodontics (interceptive and active), general oral surgery (eg, gingival), advanced oral surgery (eg, maxillectomy, mandibulectomy), skull fracture repair, temporomandibular joint diagnosis and treatment, and cleft palate repair.
He graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell and completed an internship and a 3-year surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a second residency in dentistry also at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Orsini is originally from New York but now lives in Chester County with his wife, who is a veterinary cardiologist, 2 children, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 6 chickens. He enjoys creating new pieces of pottery and yoga.
Dr. Orsini has been published in numerous journals, proceedings, and book chapters and has held lectureship and assistant professor positions in veterinary anatomy at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
