Dr. Mickie Mogilensky received her DVM from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, following graduation from the University of Maryland in 2008, where she earned a BS in Animal Sciences. She worked as an emergency and primary care veterinarian in her hometown of Washington, DC, before moving to the Philadelphia area to focus on her true passion, emergency and critical care medicine.
Dr. Mogilensky discovered at a young age that she loved animals and was concerned for their well-being. This drive led her to work with animals of all sizes as a small animal technician, an intern at the Jerusalem zoo’s veterinary clinic, and a wildlife pathology researcher. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, rooting for the Washington Capitals, and playing with Olie, her border collie mix.
