Meghan Wood, VMD
Dr. Meghan Wood graduated from Cornell University in 2001 with degrees in philosophy and biology with a concentration in neurobiology. She substitute taught chemistry, physics, and lacrosse for one year prior to attending veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ followed by a one-year fellowship in emergency and critical care at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Hope she served as Medical Director at Newtown Veterinary Hospital, a general practice in Bucks County, for four years.
Dr. Wood joined Hope as a member of the emergency service in August of 2016. Her areas of special interest include client communication,and working as a team with primary care veterinarians to ensure continuity of care for patients. Dr. Wood also enjoys working with veterinary students in her spare time. She is excited to be part of the Hope team.
