Brian Palmeiro, VMD DACVD
Dr. Brian Palmeiro was born in Long Island, New York, and obtained a bachelor of science from Rutgers University. He attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2005. Dr. Palmeiro did a rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency at Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a residency in veterinary dermatology and allergy.
Dr. Palmeiro has published numerous research articles and given many lectures pertaining to veterinary dermatology to veterinarians and veterinary students. He is a consultant on the Veterinary Information Network.
Dr. Palmeiro is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association.
His professional interests include allergic skin disease, ear disease, immune mediated and autoimmune skin disease, and pet fish medicine.
