Paul G. Orsini, DVM, DACVS, DAVDC
Dr. Paul Orsini is originally from New York and graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine (Cornell). After completing an internship and a three-year surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, he received his board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1994. Dr. Orsini then completed a second residency in dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving a second board certification from the American Veterinary Dental College in 1995.
Dr. Orsini has been published in numerous journals, proceedings, and book chapters and has held lectureship and assistant professor positions in Veterinary Dentistry and Anatomy at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
His areas of interest include periodontal disease, endodontic therapy (ex. root canal therapy), restorative dentistry (ex. crown fabrication), orthodontics (interceptive and active), general oral surgery (ex. gingival), advanced oral surgery (ex. maxillectomy, mandibulectomy), skull fracture repair, temporomandibular joint diagnosis and treatment, and cleft palate repair.
